Many of these watercolor land and seascapes are painted on location, or are class demos to help students learn expressive watercolor techniques.

As a plein air landscape painter, I want to share the spirit of the changeable seasons of New England, and the atmosphere, sense of light, and time of day of each scene.  The landscape is both timeless and ever-changing, and I hope to convey that through expressive watercolors with skies that establish the light and emotional tone of the scene.
